The reigns we thought we held around the waterfall's fury, the command in our stride as we lived our illusion, they were flickering light atop distant sand. Humming the tune to ourselves and polishing the whip in our minds we fell asleep to the notion that control was inherent and rightfully owned. From the flower's gentle bloom to the collision of ancient stars, from the river of life to the restful death, it's so obvious that the seat of direction was never truly ours."
